Seth spent the weekend with my mom, and while he was there he discovered my mom's ukulele that she has had for years. He loved it. When we came to pick he and Lyndi up to bring them home he kept asking us if we could get him a "uka lady" which is what he called it. Jared told him that he had a guitar, and he could have it. I guess Jared has given up on his dream of being an accomplished guitar player. I think the only reason he wanted to learn to play is because when we were at Ricks that was the big fad. All the guys tried to learn how to play the guitar. I guess they thought girls liked it or something. Anyway, the second we got home he started begging us to get it out, which would take some doing because Jared hasn't touched it for years, and in our recent move I wasn't sure where I had put it. Well, yesterday we got it out, and he has been "jammin" ever since. I haven't ever taken guitar lessons, but Jared is convinced that since I know how to play the piano, the guitar would be a piece of cake and that I should teach Seth how to play. I have no clue how to play the guitar....none at all. Another interesting thing we discovered is when Seth plays the guitar he uses his left hand, which may mean he is left handed.....hopefully. He has had a really hard time writing legibly with his right hand. So I am interested to see what happens if we have him use his left. Anyway, I guess I need to learn how to play the guitar so I can teach Seth.

Tell Seth we think he looks "cool" with the guitar. You could get a beginning guitar book and help him learn Monica. If not, maybe Jared could teach him or there is someone in the ward that could do so.
We had such a fun time with the children. We love you.
