WHY?

Have you ever had a kid that is in the "WHY?" stage? Well Nathan, who is 3 1/2 is presently experiencing that burning curiosity about EVERYTHING, and it causes him to ask "why?" one hundred times a day.

Nathan: "What are you doing?"

Me: "Shaving my legs."

Nathan: "Why?"

Me: "Because it is gross to have hairy legs."

Nathan: "Why?"

Me: "Because girls aren't supposed to have hairy legs."

Nathan: "Why?"

Me: "I don't know. I guess because girls like to have smooth legs."

Nathan:"Why?"

Me: "Because."

Nathan: "cause why?"

Me: "I don't know!" (Slightly frustrated as I knick my ankle)

Nathan: "What are you doing?"

Me: "Putting a piece of tissue on my ankle because I cut it with my razor."

Nathan: "Why?"

And on and on and on and on and on......

I guess it makes me question why I do some of the things I do.
