Painting
well, I think i am tired of looking at my walls the way the are, so I am going to paint them. Saturday Jared had to do his monthly "family weekend" at work so he wasn't around. I was determined to not be trapped at home all day so I packed up all the kids despite a windy/rainy/sleety nasty weather Saturday and went to Fred Meyer (one of my favorite places) to look at paint samples. That was a really silly thing to do. I don't know why I thought I could manage to look at colors and determine which is the right one with all my kids. It was quite frustrating. I ended up just grabbing a whole bunch of the those little cards and hurrying off for the toy department, because that is the only thing that would appease them. Anyway, I have always wanted a red kitchen, but I don't know if I am brave enough to do it.....what do you think? My mom and sister-in-law say that red is supposed to make you want to eat more, which is good for Nathan, because he eats very little, except when he isn't supposed to.....for me, not so much! Considering I haven't done very well in my goal to eat healthier in the new year, I guess eating more wouldn't be a good thing. Anyway, any input would be great.

Red would be so cool, but what would the rest of the style be? Black? Crackly off-white? Silver? A soft brown? Sorry, I'm thinking curtains and shelves against the red.
You know that I am all for the red. It will look great in your kitchen and you don't have so much of it that it will change your eating patterns :) It will be beautiful. Remember Tami Harman's red? Do that! She will even tell you the color if you want.
I've always wanted a red kitchen too. You paint yours and let me know if it increases your eating! If not then I will paint mine red too.
