Twister is not a game for adults
Last night we played twister for Family Home Evening, and than we had a lesson about cooperation and taking turns. (One of Jared's more brilliant lessons). We started out with the kids playing. Lawren was wandering around and thought it was the funniest thing ever. She was laughing her head off at them , and everytime they bent over she would smack them on the butt. She would crawl underneath their legs, and was just a menace. After they played a couple of games Lyndi asked us (Jared and I) if we would play. It wasn't pretty. It is SO HARD! I don't remember it being painful.....I was never a flexible person, but now, with my perma-pregnant belly ( NO I AM NOT PREGNANT, I just have a little poochy belly that really gets in the way when playing twister, hence the weight loss goal) It is EXTREMELY hard to play twister. I started laughing so hard because Lawren would come up to me and laugh and smack me on the butt, and laugh some more. I forfeited. Jared won. Than I played with Lyndi and Jared was spinning the little spinner thingy. When I was stretched to the limit, and laughing my head off, as Lawren was smaking me still and cackling like crazy, (She doesn't have a cute little girl giggle, she cackles like a 70 year old lady) I figured out that Jared wasn't spinning it, he was just making it up. Stinker. Well anyway, a warning, if you are ever tempted to play twister, DON'T. It is not a game for adults.
