Lawrenese
My daughter is from a different country. Well, not really, but she might as well be because she speaks a different language to which there is no dictionary to look up the words. I spend a good 80% of my days trying to figure out what the heck she is saying. Here are some examples I have managed to figure out: When she says "doe" she can either mean "don't", or "milk". When she says "da", she is saying "Seth" or "milk", when she is saying "feefah" she is saying "toothbrush", when she says "yaya" she means "horse", "meow" is cat, "baba" is grandma OR grandpa (they seem to be interchangeable), she calls herself "lolo" (I attribute that to Lyndi, who calls her that too), and "choiney" is train (that one took awhile to figure out). Other then a few other obvious ones the rest of what she says continues to elude me. But here's the thing: SHE NEVER STOPS TALKING, and sometimes will burst into laughter mid sentence. We will be having our usual dinner dialogue (which is frankly very BORING), and she will join in mid-mashed potato, say something that is apparently very witty, and burst out in a ninety-year-old lady cackle! If she is trying to tell me something and I can't figure out what it is she saying she will NOT stop saying it until I figure it out! She is so funny, and I bet she would be funnier if I could tell what she was saying!

That is so funny! You can just see her personality pouring out of those eyes.

that so funny! im sure life is a bit sweeter watching kids do funny things like that!
Okay, I get a couple of them like horse and feefah, but I think the milk and or siblings is so funny! As well as her amusement to her wit!
wow, good job for figuring some of those out! That is so funny, I love that she cracks herself up, that reminds me of your dad who has trouble getting things out he's laughing so hard:)
