Tag you're it/ year in Review

This is a great time of year! I love the newness of everything. I love that we can all kind of wipe our slate clean and start over. New primary classes, new calenders, new diet plans, new semesters, New resolve. I like that feeling. I also love looking back at all the stuff my family and I did during the previous year. So I am making up my own tag. I am tagging all the people who read my blog to put a "year in review" on their blog. Think back to all the 2008 months and think of all the intertesting things you did each month. It will make for some interesting reading for me! So here I go:
January: Last January we spent the month pretty much shut in our house because we had a really snowy month. I started my blog too as a desperate act of keeping myself sane. I also got to go to the first temple open house I have been to in Rexburg.
February: Katie and I surprised our husbands with tickets to a Jazz game, and spent one blissfull weekend in Salt Lake together. That was so fun wasn't it Katie?
March: We spent Spring Break down in Utah with my parents. We went to the zoo and it was lovely. I started walking at night with Nikki, which started the whole half marathon idea. We also had more snow.
April: Lyndi turned eight years old. I don't really remember much about April 2008, except for the fact that we threw a big party for Lyndi. That was fun. We had MORE SNOW!
May:Lyndi got baptized, and got a new bike. Jared and I got new bikes too, and we enjoyed many family bike rides together. MORE SNOW!
June: We went to Southern Utah for an extended family reunion. It was a fun trip, and very HOT down there. We did, however, get more snow on June 11th in Idaho. We also built a fence and did a lot of weeding in our garden.
July: The first month of the year that it did not snow! We celebrated birthdays, and we were very glad that we didn't have a fence to build anymore. We also enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks.
August: We watched the olympics in August, and prepared for school. It seems like the more kids in school you have the longer it takes to prepare for it. Doctor appointments, Eye appointments, and school shopping. I also started my first semester of prerequisites for nursing school, and started coaching Lyndi in Soccer.
September: September was a month of studying for me. Nikki and I also officially started "training". The kids spent the month adjusting to school. I also spent a lovely Labor Day with my mom canning peaches.
October: October was our Oregon trip. It is such fun memory!
November: November is noted in my memory with lots of sickness. My Dad turned 70. I ran in my first "race".
December: Jared was sick almost the entire month of December. I will always remember the elation I felt of finishing the semester, and the bliss of shopping without any time constraints. Christmast was great, and we had lots of parties and ate lots of food, and sat in front of some really toasty fires.

So, now think of all the things you remember about the past year. It makes me feel good! I am glad that I most of the things I remember are good things. I hope 2009 is good too.

Fun reading about your year in review and so many fun things that happened. I don't have time to review my year now, but have done so in other places. We are loving the MTC.
Love and miss you and your family.
