This week I had the chance to print off all the pictures from 2008 from my memory card (above are three good ones!), and then put them in albums. I don't do artsy cutesy scrapbooking....I just am not that into that kind of stuff, but I do want my kids to remember their childhood, so I buy an albums and put pictures in them with descriptions of them. I hadn't done this for a long time; about three years to be exact. Since I didn't have school this week I decided that I would make it my project. I had put all the pictures from the last three years in a pile-they had really piled up, so I had a lot to go through. I went through them all and tried to sequence them. Then I put them in my photo books. It was so fun! I started this on Tuesday, and was feeling a little down when I started, but after I was done, I felt so loved. It was like my very own "It's a Wonderful Life". I cannot believe how much my kids have grown up. I cannot believe how many people have touched my family's life. I cannot believe how many places we have lived, and how many friends we have had to say good-bye to! I cannot believe how blessed I am! I love how pictures can take me back to wherever it was taken, and whether it was good or bad, happy or sad, it just feels good to remember, because then I know how far I have come.

Monica, I just want you to know how much I love you. I have seen a big change come over you through the last year. You have changed and grown so much. I don't know if you can see it in yourself but I can see it. It amazes me and makes me love you even more. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
This makes me want to find old pictures of my kids, which I guess would actually be young pictures of my kids... but you get my meaning.
Thanks Emma. I appreciate your friendship more than you'll ever realize. I love you too!
That must have been a lot of pictures! I love how organized you are.
