writer's block

I don't know if it is the crummy weather or just the good ol' fashion blues, but I just don't know what to write about. I looked at my blog and thought "how boring"! I then tried to think of something exciting to write about, but totally can't think of a single thing. Then I read all of your blogs and started feeling really sorry for myself. I decided I need a serious vacation. So I am up for some suggestions. I looked at Oregon Coast vacations online, and that honestly looks like A LOT of fun...We need to just break down and do something really fun like that one of these days. I feel like we never go anywhere. SO.....what are you favorite family vacations? Any suggestions?

Monica...Was just in Emmas blog and decided to take a look at yours. When you decide where you want to go on this vacation, go to www.VRBO.com. It is vacation rentals by owner. I have never used it, but you can rent condos and houses from people. I have talked to some who have used it and they have been very happy. You pick the state or country and then area in that state. Sometimes it is just fun to look. They all have pictures and comments. Have fun dreaming up a great vacation. Personally, I would find a beach. Joyce

I'm so excited be heading up to Bear Lake next weekend. I think that's one of my favorite places to be of all time. I love camping, always have, so I'm itching to go, plus it's relatively cheap, but I know you're not a big camping fan... mmm I've been dreaming lately of taking a trip to the Redwoods, wouldn't that be fun?

the Seychilles? Beatiful. Just because it is a 16 hour flight and in the Indian ocean. . .
I do like Bear Lake although I like it better in August so it would be warmer. They have lots of cabins or you can stay in a hotel in Logan :) There is tons of things to do. OH you should go during Raspberry season. There is also a cool cave that Jared would be able to do, no hiking up a mountain. I am ready for a warm sunny beach too.

I personally feel that the Black Hills would be the most fun. Why? Because it is by me and then we could meet you there!

I second the vote for the Black Hills, but only if we can come.

I agree the black hills would be fun. Too bad gas is so darn expensive, or I would be all over that.

Seattle is always a good place if you haven't been. Especially in the summer time. July is a good month to come!

Katie, you are welcome to come too. We can have a big reunion there. Monica, if you have the kids push the car part of the way it will save on gas! That's how I make my trips to Walmart. The madder they get, the faster they push! (Just kidding for all of you who don't know me.)

You will never regret going to the Oregon Coast, it's an amazing place and kid friendly. The Tilamook Cheese factory is close by...but the gas thing is tricky. MY mom took us to MALTA one year and we did all sorts of crazy things...sounds nuts but it is one of my most vivid memories as a kid!
