I finished my semester! Horray! I finished my last test on Wednesday, and after I was done it was such a relief! I didn't know what to do! My kids were outside playing, and I went out there but came in quickly because it was so windy. It wasn't time for dinner yet, so I sat on the couch and stared at the piano, until I realized that I could actually sit down at the piano and practice. So I did. For a whole hour! What a novel idea! It was very fun. This morning I raced around getting household chores done, only to remember I didn't have a lab or a quiz or a test to study for after Seth left for kindegarten. so I went to the library! Whoa! I can actually have a life (I know, I am pathetic, going to the library for me is going "out"). I came home and took a nap, and it was FABULOUS! I have no classes to take from now until August 25th.
Here are some things that I am going to do with my new found freedom:
1. PAINT!!!!
I have about 1000 painting projects. No, I do not like painting, but my bathrooms (especially my baseboards, YUK!), and my backyard sheds, and my bedrooms (etc, etc, etc,) need it DESPARATELY.
2. Work on my nursing school application. It is a very rigourous process. It is actually good that I am not going to have classes to take this summer, because I will spend quite a bit of time doing my application. Apparently this includes volunteering at the hospital.
3. Weed! My flower beds are notoriously weedy....I love gardening though. I always feel so productive when I am done.
4. Make raspberry freezer jam? Anyone want to help? My raspberries are really growing already. I am very excited about it. Hopefully I can keep the birds away.
5. Plan two family reunions. One in CO, one in Island Park. It will be nice to see everyone.
6. Work toward that INSANE goal of the half marathon. I got up to seven miles once, but haven't gotten past that. It may or may not happen.
7. Go on bike rides with my kids. This is one of my favorite things to do!
8. Swim lessons. We always do swim lessons.
Anyway, not that any of you care, but these are some on my "to do" list this summer. I hope the weather actually gets warm enough to call it a "summer"!

Congrats and enjoy the bit of free time!
And do you want to come weed my beds?
Sounds like a great summer plan. I can't make that plan until I take my test June 4th!!! I am so glad you have had some down time!!!
I guess I should make a list... painting is on my list too, the one I don't have yet.
