Lawren LOVES babies. It is amazing to me how natural mothering comes to her. She is always dragging a doll around with her, sometimes in a stroller, sometimes in a laundry basket. Even in nursery, when I peek through the little window, she ALWAYS has a baby. People keep telling me that I need to have another one because she loves babies so much. Lyndi feels quite differently. I also don't feel like that is really a good idea right now, but if I ever do have another one she will be a tremendous help.

Every year Jared and his Dad go to a father and sons outing together. Now, of course, they take Seth and Nathan with them. It is kind of a fun tradition. This year they left kind of late, I guess, and drove right past the place where the campout was supposed to be (I say they were lost, he says they were "scouting the territory for next hunting season." What is it with men and getting lost?) Anyway they decided to turn back at about 8:00, and they found the campground. It was really crowded (it was our Ammon stake campout) and the food was all gone. So they decided to come home and go to McDonald's and campout in his dad's backyard. Everyone had fun anyway.

Monica, you loved babies as a child just like Lawren does. She comes by it naturally. That and you always were trying to teach them something. How funny about the getting lost and scouting the territory.Mom
I love how much Lawren loves the baby dolls! She will be a great mom someday! I loved the camping story also. We are looking forward to you coming. Sounds like Micah and Tiffani will be here that week also. We should have a great time!
Lawren is one of the most mothering baby doll moms I have seen.
At least the "men" didn't get all ticked off, and made the best of it. Tennyson and Randal had a good time, but Tennyson was cold because they didn't get the zipper all the way shut, but this is their very first campout, so I am just thrilled they went.
I had people tell me I should have a baby when the girls were older because they would enjoy helping with it. I say - I don't have babies for them, when they get married they can enjoy taking care of their own:) What a fun camping time. I hope the boys found some good hunting spots for next year:)
