This past week has been such a tiring and busy week for us. The song I have playing is really the way I felt all week. The kids started school on Thursday, and we were in charge of the ward end of summer party on Tuesday. It was a lot of work but I think it turned out to be pretty great. Everyone seemed to be having a great time (everyone except Jared and I). We had LOTS of help from people in the ward, and that is really what made it possible. We sure appreciated it!
Lyndi's teacher seems to be great . She seemed to be really happy with her. She is also getting used to her glasses, although we haven't quite figured out how to keep them from sliding down her nose. She is so happy to be able to see, and I think that she will get used to them sooner or later. Seth LOVES school and was so mad that he didn't get to go at 7:00 am the day school started. His teacher seems really nice and patient, which is good for Seth. I hope he can make some good friends. Nathan doesn't start Preschool until Friday. He is really excited about it and is kinda jealous that the other kids get to go and he doesn't. At least not yet. Lawren spent all day Thursday looking for Lyndi. It was so cute! She wandered all over the house calling "nee-nee" which is what she says for "Lyndi". I think she (as did I) really missed her!
Thursday was also our 9th wedding anniversary. We had a nice lunch at Olive Garden to celebrate. I can't believe it has been that long, and at the same time it seems like it has been FOREVER. The lunch was good, but I was so busy before and afterward with getting the kids off to school, coaching soccer, and teaching piano, I hardly had time to have it feel like a "special" day. Oh well.
This fall is going to busy, but good. I just hope I can keep up with everything!
