Friday my in-laws took my two boys to Island park to have some fun. Jared had a thing at work so he wasn't here....which means GIRLS NIGHT! Lyndi had a certificate for a free Applebee's kids meal so we went there, we got the girls' hair cut, and we went birthday shopping for Lawren's birthday which was Saturday. She got a doll and a stroller. SHE LOVES IT. We went to the mall to find some clothes for her after we bought the doll and she dragged the doll around JC Penney while it was still in the box. If I tried to pry it from her little fingers she FREAKED OUT and started screaming. I decided it wasn't a fight I was going to win so I decided to just let her. We had a fun time hanging out with just the girls, and Lawren had a blast playing with her toys without Seth and Nathan taking them away from her. It was a fun time!
The boys didn't get back until Saturday so Lyndi and Lawren and I had some time with Jared which was nice. My parents came on Saturday night and stayed a couple of days. All in all it was a fun weekend-a nice break for the boys to get away, and a nice break for me from the boys.
We are glad that they are back though!
